Subscription Terms

1. Scope

These terms are for the Mentagon Premium subscription and complete the Terms of Use. For now Premium is sold only in the iOS and Android apps, through the App Store or Google Play; the store handles the sale and the payment, and its terms apply too.

2. What Premium includes

Premium lifts the free plan’s daily limits on rated and practice sessions and its limit on explanations per session, and gives more streak shields a week. The free plan’s current limits and what Premium includes are shown on the paywall.

Premium gives no rating or league advantage: league points come from the same number of first rated sessions a day for everyone.

3. Price and renewal

• The price, including taxes and in the store’s currency, is shown on the paywall before you buy.
• The subscription renews automatically, monthly or yearly; the renewal is charged to your store account within the 24 hours before the period ends.
• Price changes are announced in advance under the store’s rules and apply from the next period.

4. Free trial

If a trial is offered, its length is shown on the paywall. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription moves on to a paid period.

5. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time in the store’s subscription settings (in the app: Settings → Subscription → Manage subscription). Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current period, and Premium stays on until then. Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription.

6. Withdrawal and refunds

Premium is a digital service that starts as soon as you buy it; the exception to the right of withdrawal for such services applies with the consent you give when buying. Refunds are requested from the store under its refund policy. Your mandatory consumer rights are not affected.

7. Changes to the service

We may improve what Premium includes. If we remove a significant Premium feature we announce it in advance, and you can let your subscription end with the period.
