Terms of Use

1. Who we are

Mentagon is run by [Company name] (“Mentagon”, “we”), [Address]. These terms cover the website, the iOS and Android apps, accounts, the Mind Card assessment, rated play and practice, the league, the Daily Puzzle, the Premium subscription and the waitlist.

2. What Mentagon is

Mentagon is a mind sport and learning game in which you train thinking skills without AI help. It is not an IQ test or a medical or psychological assessment; scores and the Mind Card are in-game measures only.

3. Your account

• You must be over the age limit of the country you live in to open an account: 15 in Türkiye, 18 in the United States and India, 16 everywhere else (the European Union, the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom included). Accounts of people under 18 are teen accounts: their name is not shown in the league, their badges are not public and they get no marketing messages.
• Give your real year of birth. One account per person; accounts cannot be transferred or sold.
• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in (e-mail code, Google or Apple account) safe.
• You can delete your account and download a copy of your data in Settings at any time.

4. Game and community rules

• AI tools, outside help, several accounts and automated tools are not allowed in rated play; the details, decisions and appeals are in the Fair-Play Policy.
• Your display name and username must follow the Community Rules.
• Abusing flaws in the system and copying content in bulk are not allowed.
• Breaches may annul the results concerned, restrict rated play or close the account; you can appeal every decision.

5. Premium

Premium is an auto-renewing subscription bought through an app store, under the Subscription Terms. It lets you play more and opens every explanation; it gives no rating or league advantage.

6. Intellectual property

Questions, texts, design and software belong to Mentagon or its licensors and may not be copied except for personal, non-commercial use. You may share your own results and card images personally.

7. Changes

The service keeps developing: features may change, outages may happen, and when an error in a question is corrected the scores concerned may be recalculated. We announce material changes to these terms in the app and on the site before they take effect.

8. Liability

The service is provided “as is”. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law; your mandatory consumer rights are not affected.

9. Personal data

How we process personal data is explained in the Privacy Notice, and cookies in the Cookie Policy.

10. Governing law and language

These terms are governed by Turkish law; the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country you live in still apply. If the Turkish and English texts conflict, the Turkish text prevails.
